22.04.2024 – One of the two Lamborghini Huracàn GT3 EVO2 that Imperiale Racing will field at the start of the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint in the PRO category has been entrusted to Phillippe Denes (USA) and Jack Bartholomew (UK).

Denes (USA), 25, last year defended the colors of the Mirandola-based team in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint, winning the championship in the PRO-AM category. In 2022 he starred in the German GT4 and the DTM. In his career, which began in America with karts, he secured the third place in the F1600 Championship Series at just seventeen years old, winning twice at Watkins Glen. After racing in TatuusUSF17-Mazda cars in 2017, the following year he finished on the podium in Barcelona in the International GT Open and won the Silverstone 12 Hours in a Porsche 991-I Cup.

Bartholomew (UK), 25, is a driver with many notable achievements with the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based brand, with which he has garnered some of the most important satisfactions of his career especially in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Last year twice on the podium with Imperiale Racing in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Endurance, in 2017 he had finished third in the Middle East series, which he then won in 2018. He finished second in Asia 2018 and third in Europe 2019. It should be noted that earlier in his career, after his successes with karts, he was also runner-up in the 2016 BritishGT Championship and in 2021 he finished second in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Great Britain.

Phillippe Denes:
“I’m very excited to continue with Imperiale Racing for a second season in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint and to be able to defend the title we won together in PRO-AM last year. After my experience from last year I’m ready to build on top of it, this time with my teammate Jack and take on the PRO category in the new Lamborghini Huracàn GT3 EVO2!”

Jack Bartholomew:
“After the two podiums achieved last year in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Endurance, I am excited about the idea of racing for Imperiale Racing again this season! The new challenge in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint fascinates me and I will give my all to achieve the team’s goals!”

Simone Giglio (Team Manager):
“We are very satisfied with the two crews we will field at the start of this Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint. Denes and Bartholomew are two excellent drivers that we know well thanks to the good experience we shared last year and we are sure that they will help us with all of themselves throughout this year. Together with the Laborghini Huracàn GT3 EVO2 entrusted to Rogalski-Fascicolo, we will field two excellent crews at the start of the championship!”
