02.06.2022 – Imperiale Racing is about to face a double appointment at the same weekend: the second round of the Italian GT Sprint 2022 Championship will be at the Misano World Circuit and the second round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2022 in Le Castellet, which is a support event of the 1000km of Paul Ricard.
The motivation of the Mirandola-based team is very high first of all for the return of Stuart Middleton (GB), who run a test yesterday and was confirmed to be fit to side Alberto di Folco (ITA) in the Lamborghini Huracàn GT3 Evo #6 after recovering from the incident happened in Monza. Paul August (LTU) will complete the team’s lineup in the #9 car.
At the same time, two Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo 2 will hit the track in Le Castellet: the #88 car will be driven by Hans Fabri (NL) and the #89 will be put in the hands of the rookie Manuel Bejarano (ESP), who has been one of the protagonists of the opening round in Imola.

We are very happy about Stuart’s comeback, having him in the car is very exciting and his comeback gives the whole team a boost of motivation to get good results. At the Paul Ricard it is going as exciting: Manuel displayed a great pace in Imola, therefore the target is to speed up the learning curve and improve the performance, while we will be fighting to retain the LB Cup title with Hans”.
