Alberto Di Folco (driver):
“I am very happy to be back in such a high-level championship after the experience built in the previous years, the last one of which is in 2021. A lot of our rivals are Factory Drivers and therefore they have a lot of experience behind the wheel of GT3 cars. It is going to be a very competitive weekend and I cannot wait to take part in it. I would like to thank all my sponsors and the people that believe in me, the staff of Lamborghini Geneve and Enzo Gagliardi that will be by my side also on this occasion”.
Albert Costa (drivers):
“I am proud to be back in the GT World on Lamborghini’s home turf. Alberto and I make up a strong pairing: I am honoured to share the cockpit with him and to represent Imperiale Racing, a team with a great history in GT racing. This is going to be my maiden race with them and I cannot wait to test the car. We have a good opportunity and we will work hard to make the most of it. I wish to thank Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Imperiale Racing that allowed me to be back”.
Luca Del Grosso (Team Manager):
“Being back to the GT World Challenge is a huge satisfaction to us. We worked hard to make this possible and our determination is high. Alberto and Albert make up a great pairing, we are aware that a one-off exit like this makes things even harder as the level of the championship is really high, but the team is prepared for the competition and I believe we can get some good satisfactions”.
