09.05.2019 – Imperiale Racing’s season in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2019 is about to start this coming weekend at the circuit of Silverstone (GB).
The Italian team is present in the Lamborghini single-make series since 2011 and this year it confirmed its commitment to the series fielding three Lamborghini Huracàn Super Trofeo equipped with the Evo kit to be once again among the protagonists after getting close to the victory in the past edition. Vito Postiglione (ITA) and Kikko Galbiati (ITA) will drive the #44 car, while Karol Basz (PL) and Bartosz Paziewski (PL) will share driving duties on the #8. Hans Fabri (NL) will drive again the #88 car.
The challenge in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2019 announces to be particularly intense and exciting and will see highly-experienced drivers and teams at the start. The calendar features six rounds at some of the most famous European circuits, among which the legendary Spa-Francorchamps and Nürburgring in its GP layout. The series will also stop in Italy at the Misano World Circuit in the closing weekend of June and will reach its conclusion in Jerez (ESP) next October in a joint event with the Lamborghini World Finals.
The stage of the opening round is a historic one: Silverstone. This is the venue hosting the first Formula 1 Grand Prix ever back in 1950. Famous also for the unpredictable weather, the circuit of Silverstone unfolds in 5.891 meters and soon after the start/finish line it features the nice Maggots, Becketts and Chapel complex, that is perhaps the most characteristic sector of the circuit. The long hangar straight will give an opportunity to use slipstreams for attempting an overtaking move at the Stowe corner, while the mid part includes the wide Club, Abbey and Farm. The closing part has a short straight before the Brooklands and Luffield corners that lead back onto the pit-straight.
The weekend will kick off on Friday with two one-hour-long free practice sessions at 10:00 and 15:40 (GMT+1).Two qualifying sessions of 20 minutes each will follow on Saturday at 9:40, while race one will start at 14:35. Race two will get green lights on Sunday at 11:10.
Both races will be available through the live streaming link on new Imperiale Racing website imperialeracing.it while the social channels @imperialeracing will constantly provide updates on the sessions of the weekend.
