24.07.2019 – The holiday season has not started for Imperiale Racing yet since the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2019 is due shortly, from Thursday 25th to Saturday 28th, on the legendary circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, as the classic support race to the Total 24 Ore of Spa.
The Italian team, after the technical and challenging round in Zandvoort, is now ready for the turning point of season 2019 on the historic 7,004 meters of the Belgian racetrack. Imperiale Racing’s colors will be defended by the Lamborghini Huracàn Super Trofeo Evo #44 driven by the PROs Vito Postiglione (ITA) and Kikko Galbiati (ITA), the #8 by Karol Basz (PL) and Bartosz Paziewski (PL), while Hans Fabri (NL) will compete in LC on the #88 car.
The weekend in Spa-Francorchamps does not need any introduction. The double race will take place on an as famous as complete circuit this time around. The weather in the Ardennes is often unpredictable and some of the most famous corners will make this the perfect stage for the exciting mid-season challenge in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2019, where Imperiale Racing targets to be among the protagonists again.
The start of the lap is in the short straight heading into the La Source hairpin as in the case of F.1, then the down-hill part leads into the famous Eau Rouge-Raidillon complex and its compression that made this circuit a legend. Drivers will go through the Kemmel Straight flat out up to the Les Combes chicane that introduces the second sector. The mid-part is driven and mostly down-hill until the Stavelot turn, where the rhythm steps up before the tricky and very fast Blanchimont bent. The final Bus Stop chicane that in 2007 has changed the pit entry rejoins the start/finish straight.
The program is going to be anticipated by one day. Free practice will take place on Thursday at10:00 and 15:00 (GMT +2). The two pole position sessions will follow on Friday at 9:30 (Q1) and 10:00 (Q2), while race one will be at 13:15. Race two will be on Saturday at 11:55.

Luca Del Grosso (Imperiale Racing, Team Manager):
“Spa-Francorchamps is a key moment to our season in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2019 and the challenge this time around will be on one of the most exciting racetracks ever. We cannot compare this to any previous round as the features of this track are very different from the others. Engines will be flat out for most of the track and brakes will be used heavily in corners like the Les Combes, La Source or the closing chicane. We will need to be quite focused, but I am certain that the team and drivers will give their best also on the Ardennes”.
