27.07.2022 – Imperiale Racing is getting ready for the fourth round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2022 and will get on the track from tomorrow on in Spa-Francorchamps (B) for the main event supporting the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa.
The Mirandola-based team will compete with two Lamborghini Huracàn Super Trofeo Evo, the #89 driven by Manuel Bejarano (ESP) and the #88 by Hans Fabri (NL).
Bejarano had the chance to take part in a testing session on this circuit collecting important data for the setup of the car while getting acquainted with the circuit.
Fabri knows well the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps instead and, after the good results scored in 2021, he got to the Ardennes resolute to confirm his speed in LB Cup after the first two rounds in Paul Ricard and Misano, which were more tricky than expected.
The theatre of this challenge is this 7.004 meters-long racetrack that includes the Eau Rouge-Raidillon complex, the sector that every driver dreams of going through at least once in their career. The layout is very technical with a driven central sector and a fast final sector that leads up to the chicane that rejoins the main straight ending the lap. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe will in fact use the same main straight as the Formula 1.
Luca Del Grosso (Team Manager):
“We get to Spa with the goal of scoring an important result with both cars. Manuel and Hans have great perspectives and are ready to put on track all their grit therefore I am pretty sure we can have fun. As always, the weather could be a crucial variable, last year we won the race with Hans getting the most out of a quick pit stop. We are ready and have several data to start from to optimize our setup”.
