28.03.2023 – Imperiale Racing proudly announces its new partnership with MOMO, which will bring together the Mirandola-based team and the leading company in design and accessories for motorsports and everyday cars in view of the sporting commitments of 2023.

The test that the team from Modena did today with the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo cars at the Autodromo Nazionale of Monza, is the first occasion on which the MOMO brand has appeared on the Sant’Agata Bolognese cars to enhance the livery chosen by Imperiale Racing, which remains the same as that shown during the 2022 season.

This is an agreement that unites two long-standing entities always engaged in the world of motorsports. MOMO was founded in 1964 by Gianpiero Moretti, an entrepreneur and winner of the 1969 Targa Florio who also participated in four editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, including 1997 one in which he finished sixth overall in a Ferrari 333 SP with Max Papis and Didier Theys, and in the most prestigious endurance competitions in the USA, winning the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1998, the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen.

MOMO was born with competition, but it introduced a line of products for road cars in the 1960s, which led to collaborations with some of the world’s most prestigious automotive brands. In 1993, MOMO Corse was created, specializing in the production of flame-retardant clothing for drivers and teams. Today, the company markets its products in over 60 countries, continuing to work both in motorsports and with products for everyday cars.

Elena Pignatti (Team Owner, Imperiale Racing):

Our vision and the passion that drives us to invest in the world of competition in the constant pursuit of excellence are aspects that we share with the Milanese brand and with the history, it has represented and still represents for the sector. We are confident that this partnership will create important opportunities for mutual satisfaction.”

Luca Del Grosso (Team Manager, Imperiale Racing):
“We warmly welcome aboard to MOMO, which we are truly proud to represent on the track. This is an important partnership that supports our sporting commitments for 2023. Soon we will announce what our commitments will be during this season, but being tied to a company with such history and authority is something that really makes us very proud.”
