21.05.2024 – In addition to its commitment in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint, Imperiale Racing returns to the Endurance series entrusting a Lamborghini Huracàn GT3 EVO2 to Kevin Gilardoni(CH), Robin Rogalski (POL) and Alessio Deledda (IT). The car will have the number 85 on the doors and will compete in the PRO-AM category.

Gilardoni (CH), 32, made his debut last year with Imperiale Racing, taking a win, a podium and a third place finish in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Endurance. Born in 1992, he had an extraordinary 2022 season in the International GT Open where he finished third after an exciting challenge for victory. He started his career in Formula Azzurra, finishing third in 2008, and later achieved important results in rallies where he continues to race and win. In 2012 and 2013 he finished third in the Megane Trophy Eurocup, while in 2012 he also won the Challenge Tricolore F. Renault 2.0 Italia. Also worth mentioning is his success in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe 2021.

Rogalski (POL), 23, has good experience in the world of prototypes and competes with Imperiale Racing in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint, in the PRO-AM category. Last year he finished fourth in the Prototype Cup Germany, winning one race and finishing four times on the podium in a Duqueine D-08 LMP3, and with the same car he took part in two races of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, while in 2022 he scored a win and two podiums in the FIA Central Europe Zone – GT3 in an Audi R8 GT3 Evo. With nine podiums and one fastest lap, he triumphed in the Audi Sport Seyffarth R8 LMS Cup in 2019.

Deledda (ITA), 29, last year competed in the DTM aboard a Lamborghini Huracàn GT3 EVO2, the same car in which he competed at Imola in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Sprint. He competed in 2019 and 2020 in FIA Formula 3, and in 2021 he competed in FIA Formula 2. His commitment did not fail to come into contact with the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, the one-make series of the Sant’Agata Bolognese company in which he raced in 2020.

Kevin Gilardoni:
“I am very happy to be at the start of this Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Endurance together with Imperiale Racing, the team I raced with last year, and on the brand new Lamborghini Huracàn GT3 EVO2. We have been testing over the past few weeks and have had very positive feedback. We will race in the PRO-AM class, which promises to have a lot of teams at the start and is really fierce: we will do our best, but our only goal is to win the title. I would like to thank my partners, who allowed me to be at the start of the championship again this year, Lamborghini and Lamborghini Lugano!”.

Robin Rogalski:
“I am delighted to be able to add the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Endurance to my Sprint experience, again together with Imperiale Racing. Running so many races with the Lamborghini Huracàn GT3 EVO2 will also help me to get to know this car better, thus bringing my contribution to achieving the goals we have set together with the team. I can’t wait to start this Italian endurance racing experience as well!”.

Alessio Deledda:
“I am thrilled at the idea of participating in the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Endurance with Imperiale Racing. It is an honour to be part of this prestigious team and to race alongside my teammates, Kevin Gilardoni and Robin Rogalski. This will be quite a new experience for me, as I don’t have much experience in endurance racing, having only competed once in the 24 Hours of Daytona. So far, my career has seen me focus mainly on sprint races. However, I am ready to take on this new challenge and give my best for the team. I can’t wait to start this adventure!”.

Elena Pignatti (Team Owner):
“We are proud to present ourselves at the start of this Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Endurance. Our commitment, like last year, is divided between the two GT tricolour series and we aim to achieve the same satisfaction as at the end of the 2023 season. The third place overall achieved last year with Gilardoni, Raùl Guzmàn and Stuart Middleton was a great result. I am sure that, thanks to the work and commitment of everyone, this will be another season of satisfaction for Imperiale Racing!”.
