19.10.2022 – Imperiale Racing heads to Mugello where the Italian GT Sprint 2022 Championship will run its closing round of the season and the Italian team is in the title hunt with Alberto Di Folco (ITA).

The Mirandola-based team will field the two Lamborghini Huracàn GT3 Evo as usual: the #6 for Di Folco and Stuart Middleton (GB) in PRO and the #9 for Paul August (LTU) in AM.

The International Circuit of Mugello is the perfect stage for a great closer, where all the closing battles are to be fought. The racetrack measures 5.245 meters and is arguably the most complete in Italy. The start is on the very long straight and the first sector includes the San Donato, Luco and the up-hill Poggio Secco. The central part features the spectacular complex Casanova-Savelli and the two Arrabbiate corners that require speed, stability and grit. The closing part of the lap rejoins then the main straight.

Luca Del Grosso (Team Manager):
“Everything is still possible. Also in this season, we have been the absolute protagonists of the championship and we get to the closing round well aware of the strengths of our package. We are resolute to finish the season with the best possible result. Last year we fought until the end and we secured two pole positions on this track. There is a great feeling within the team, we will do our best. Mugello is a technical and challenging circuit, there are a lot of strong rivals, and all is in place for a spectacular weekend. We will give it our best push”.
